Well, It seems it has been a LONG time since I last posted (notice I was PREGNANT in the last post) But, things get a little crazy when you're raising a baby!!
We welcomed Caleb James on November 15, 2010 (6 weeks premature) and brought him home 12 days later. He is such a blessing to Jimmy and I (and both our families!!) We call him our little Gerber baby! How could God have blessed me so? I must have done something right! Caleb will be 7 months old (OMG!) on the 15th of this month. He rolls everywhere, sits and plays with his toys, eats baby food, LOVES ESPN, and yells at me and Jimmy! He has never met anyone he hasn't liked, yet!
We are starting our lives as a family in League City at our new apartments (been here since January) and we love it! Caleb has his own room and it's so cute! I went back to the studio for the time being and Jimmy got his teachers certification for High School social studies (as if anyone is hiring!!) I really want to take a Nurses Aide Certification class, but I just can't bring myself to leave Caleb from 9-3 EVERYDAY! So, with some prayer I will see where God is leading me- and right now he wants me to stay with my little man! Jimmy is currently working at Best Shot gun range in Friendswood- he really likes it there. We are still contemplating the Marines, but are still unsure. Moving really wouldnt be a bad thing- I would love to experience other places. We will see!
We also became an Aunt and Uncle this year too! Jimmy's older sister, Katie, and her husband, Jeep, welcomed their first baby, Jackson Paul, on April 11. That little booger was 10 days late! He was well worth the wait though!
That is about all for now...I will try to keep this thing updated more often BUT being a full time mommy is hard work!
